Boston launches flu shot tracking - The Boston Globe

It is a journey, the road to health. For some of us the road is a freeway that never ends and there are no detours. Then there are the bumpy windy mountain roads with the occasional washout. This is where I come from. I have learned alot from the path I chose. I hope to share and help another traveler find a better way.
About Me

- "I'm just another traveler, on the road to Kingdom come; Just another one" from a song by Harry Chapin. I was a Medical Technologist by trade. That means I spent my working hours in a laboratory, analyzing bacteria, blood and various other body fluids. So, I know a little about the physical body and how it maintains itself in ill health. What I find more interesting though, are the spiritual/energetic bodies. This is what I study in my spare time. I am fascinated by the energy pathways of the meridians. The mystery of quantum physics. The spirit that lives on after this corporal body sloughs off. In my case, after years of doing it the allopathic way, I discovered that in order for my body to heal, I needed energetic alignment, much like a chiropractic adjustment of the spine, but instead a readjustment of the energy pathways. I have learned of many ways this can be done. I really didn't have much choice but to learn how. It took me many years to discover why, and that doesn't matter now. I learned all of this for a reason, perhaps it is to help you on your journey. If so, welcome. I hope I can help.

Lyme and it's cohorts
Now it's time to talk about Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, and Mycoplasmas. All can be gotten from one little tick bite. In my case, I had multiple tick bites, but according to legend, if the tick isn't on overnight, there will be no problem. NOT so. I made sure the little buggers were off, every night before bed. Just like in the Kenny Chesney song.."I want to check you for ticks"..it was a fun nightly task. I say task, because in my case, I am covered with hemangiomas, a sideline of having mercury poisoning. They range in size from pinpoint to 2.5 mm and change color from red to black, are slightly raised and fleshy. Some look just like seed ticks and it is a chore to tell them from a tick. So, in my case, we may have missed one. But since I have other "problems" and I don't get fevers, I never saw a rash or got a fever. Instead I got a lump, a nodule on my leg. I was fatigued, but no more than usual. I had the doc look at it, he didn't want to take it off and referred me to a dermatologist. I didn't care to go and made the mistake of never going and that was where I messed up. It was a Lyme nodule. I know now, the bullseye is there now. So, as my health slowly spiralled down, I never guessed that it was Lyme.
Now, five years later...it is clear, as I have felt worse and worse and have become unemployed and unemployable. I can't stand, I can't think, I can't last long at any task. It is a chore to write and I love to write. I can't afford testing now, and it's not going to matter, disability for Lyme is a dream. Fibromyalgia, maybe. But that is not the real problem...Lyme is.
Diagnosis has helped. I know what I am fighting and am employing several of many non-prescription Lyme killers. Without the EPFX/QXCI SCIO instrument, I would have called in my chips and gone home. I heartily recommend it to anyone fighting a debilitating disease with no name. It will diagnose you and accurately. More to come on how I am fighting this bug.

Just sick to Death?
Watch this video. It is a start to finding why YOU are depressed, tired and can't sleep. It is just a link to what may be wrong with a lot of us. A difficult to diagnose organism may have infected many of us. Lyme acts in much the same way. It is just as difficult to diagnose. Some articles I have read say that 40% of people that do have Lyme ....their test results are negative. Bummer!

A YEAR of STUDY
Well, it has been awhile,
Last December I just got sick. I thought at first that I had gotten the flu and couldn't shake it. After another month and another trip to the Drs office, I looked around. Everybody was talking about it, the flu and how they had it or had had it. I knew one thing, they were on their feet, I wasn't...I wondered why. Three months had passed, I still was dragging. I had missed the best of all the holidays and couldn't face the shopping crowds. I finally got the message..there was something else wrong. I struggled to stay on the internet long enough to learn something that would help. I prayed for guidance or death, I really did. I got the guidance. I found a link that led to a link...you know how that goes. I no longer remember where I started but I ended up, one year later, feeling good enough to get back on here and share what I learned.
I'll start there. Mercury. I learned that if you have any amalgams in your mouth..do not take the supplement ...alpha lipoic acid. I was taking it daily to get more energy. It is an over the counter supplement turning up more and more in multi vitamins and foods. It is a natural thing and non-toxic, but it just happens to raise your energy by removing toxins, very efficiently. It is one of a very few things that can pass the blood-brain barrier and go right into the brain and chelate out heavy metals. It really likes mercury and chelates it readily. It tries to get it out of the amalgams too and that will make you terribly sick. Put me to bed for three months. If you do not take it correctly, it can redistribute the mercury, dropping it into organs or muscles, or back into another part of the brain. I had handled mercury and been exposed to vapors when I worked at a small childrens hospital lab back in the 1970's. No more mystery about why I got environmentally ill. It typically begins months to years after the exposure and is not readily detected in tests. I remember getting a hair analysis in the 1980's, no indication of mercury in my hair. No surprise, reliable testing is non-existant. The Andy Cutler protocol confirms mercury by a counting method. I never got retested, no need, my experiences confirmed it for me. When I stopped taking the ALA, and stopped any other chelating substance. I got better. It has taken awhile and I have used several methods for detoxing the detox. I started with iodine, went to bentonite clay, got a session on the QCXI/SCIO and have finished up with appropriate homeopathics. I tried a lot of things, those I mentioned helped the most. The only supplement that didn't make me sicker was Vit. C. I now am able to take supplements again.
While studying mercury, I learned about many things. Lyme disease, iodine, colloidal silver, the QXCI instrument, and teasel root. Each thing has played a part and helped. I will blog about each thing in turn. Some of you will need one of these cures, some will need all, like I did. I hope to help someone who hasn't got the energy or the time to do the research that I did.
